Roll Up Banners - They Come in Various Styles and Sizes

Roll up banners are display advertising tools that are very handy for on-site and off-site marketing. The materials are lightweight, with the banners that roll or retract into a base or housing when not in use. The poles or stands support the banners, keeping them open for display. The following are just some of the types of advertising banners that marketers and businesses use today.

Countertop pop up banners are pretty small, measuring only several inches in height and width. As the name suggests, these banners are mainly used for countertop advertising, but may also be hanged at doors and gateways, or on the walls and along the aisles. With their size, countertop banners are inexpensive options, but may not provide the required visibility.

Standard banner displays measure about 75 inches by 35 inches. They're great for all sorts of promotional banner applications. These banners are usually placed along entrances to booths or stores, giving product information. They're likewise useful for window displays. Several banners of the same size may be put side by side for greater visibility.

Backdrop banners on the other hand are roll up banners that are larger, measuring 75 inches by 95 inches. They're highly visible, and used in place of two or more standard-size banners. They create excellent backdrop for stages and dividers for booths. Backdrop banners are sometimes called media backdrop or exhibition backdrop.

Indoor banners are made of standard materials designed for indoor display advertising. They're not sturdy enough to withstand the elements, and the graphics can easily fade when exposed to sunlight and precipitation.

Outdoor banners are more appropriate for outdoor display advertising. They're made of stronger materials to resist wind, rain, and sunlight. The poles or frames of these pop up banners are much sturdier and more stable for the purpose. They're not as lightweight as indoor banners but remain portable, nonetheless.

Eco banners are made of sustainable materials. The banners are made of recyclable material in plastic, cotton or other fabric, whilst the stands are made of recyclable steel, bamboo or pine. The poles or stands are heavier than the usual plastic or aluminium stands, and are somewhat more expensive, too.

Display advertising banners, the precursors to online banners, are good old marketing tools for business promotion. As you can see, some roll up banners are as small as a pocket-size photo whilst others are large enough to cover a good section of the wall. Pull up banners, retractable banners, portable banners-whatever you may call them - asses your options and choose accordingly the one that works best for your marketing campaign.
