Improve Your Sales Dramatically Using These Marketing Tools

Joe Gerard who is in the Guinness Book of Records for selling the most number of cars is one of the most successful salesmen of all time. The way that he did it was, when someone purchased a car from him, he would send out handwritten cards at every event he could think of, that you can do as well to improve your sales, Valentine's day, Christmas, birthday, everything. So every year, they'd be getting at least one card from him, every month. The way that he figured it was, on average, most people get a new car every five years or ten years or something like that.
So he figured out, well it's going to cost me, if I'm ending one letter each month between when they make their purchase to when they make their next purchase, it might cost him $50 or $100. What are they going to do? If they want to buy another car, are they going to go to some random dude down the street or are they going to go the guy who sent them cards once a month every year for the last five, ten years? The choice is simple to increase your sales. Imagine trying to incorporate that into your business.
You can do this by using a tool called sendoutcards seven day trial, where you can get a seven day trial of a great service. It's an online service that allows you to send postcards, greeting cards and three fold cards out through the web, with a real time stamp, with a handwritten font on the front of the envelope and your handwriting printed on the cards.
The beautiful thing to improve your sales is to have that card printed and posted and it is $1.60. It's $1.60 for a greeting card, you can't even get that, that's posted and delivered and printed. Try and get a Hallmark card these day, it costs you $7 just for the card. These guys have thousands of cards in their data base, you can upload your own cards, you can go to 99designs, get a unique birthday card designed for $2, upload it into SendOutCards so it a unique birthday card sent every birthday, all automated. So you can do some of that with your outsourcing team and get a lot of leverage that way as well.
One thing that I haven't mentioned is user testing. It is so cheap and within minutes you can have somebody viewing your website. So if you want to test and see what people think of your website when real people are using it, you can just ask them whatever you want and they give you a video and a written report of your website and what it's like to use.
We've done a lot of testing on check out processes with this and we learned so much. What we thought was wrong wasn't really wrong, but they pointed out a whole bunch of other things, and we said, oh, we weren't even going to fix that, so it save us thousands of dollars.
It's a great tool to improve your sales. My suggestion with tools like this is, it's definitely worth using, but Website Optimizer and Analytics in Google's tools are much better tools for testing purposes because they're people who are using their wallet.
